Building capacity to monitor SDG 4

Twenty-two participants from Asia and the Pacific enhanced their capacity to understand education data for use in SDG monitoring and policy making. This was the outcome of a 4-day Regional Training for SDG4 Monitoring using MICS Survey Data which was jointly organized by SIAP, United Nations Children's Fund and Statistics Korea (KOSTAT) and was hosted by the KOSTAT's Statistics Training Institute in Daejeon, Republic of Korea. The training was held over a period of 4 days and featured a combination of lectures, hands-on exercises, country presentations and discussion sessions (small group and/ or Q&A).
