Overview
A road map for expanding and accelerating use of Internet-based e-learning for statistical training through coordinated partnership among official statistics training providers, including:.
an assessment of the current status of the supply and demand for internet-based e-learning courses on official statistics in the region;
- an assessment of the current status of the supply and demand for internet-based e-learning courses on official statistics in the region;
- strategies to be adopted for specifying the objectives, identifying the scope of training topics and motivating the participants in order to maximize impact;
- an implementation strategy for adapting the massive open online course (MOOC) model to increase availability of and access to courses on offer from individual training providers and to provide a common platform for jointly developing and delivering trainings for filling training gaps.
